SIT, SIM-RMIT or Unisim?

Hi guys, wanna enquire between this 3 unis, which would be a wiser choice? I'm interested in accountancy and still pondering which uni to apply. What's stopping me to choose is due to financial and also the chance of getting in (reason being that I'm a non-business diploma) So far the info I know is that:

SIT
- requires interview
- a local uni
- full-time (full focus to study)
- able to get most financial assistance available
- planning to find part-time jobs to support myself
- 3-3.5 years (if i remembered correctly during the open house)

Unisim
- requires interview as well
- a local uni as well
- able to get the financial assistance available as well
- part-time (able to support myself financially and also own time own target)

SIM GE (RMIT)
- doesn't require interview but depends on the number of students applied
- not local uni
- part-time as well
- not much choices of financial assistance (bank loans)

In terms of graduating fastest i think is rmit? not sure

but i got one fren finished SIT in 2 years,think is cause of poly got similar modules or smth.

Depends what u want.. want faster get a degree to get a job or u dun mind the longer time

Which corse are u looking at? From what I know, sit only offer accounting and IT. My gf just graduated as accountant as pioneer batch. My guy friend graduated from SIT as pioneer batch for IT during old times. Both quite decent .
Accounting u get to work in big 4 for ur interns. IT I didn't ask my friend too much . 1 went to Russia for cyber security . The others went to common place .NCS and ST.

Between SIT and UniSIM, either one will do. But try to choose the one nearest to your house. It will be easier for you transportation wise, and better incentive for you to wake up and go to school.

SIMGE RMIT can only give you some exemptions in singapore ca qualification foundation, but better than nothing.

If you didn't manage to get into any of your options, any 3 year degree will do, after that you can participate in singapore ca qualification foundation to get your accountancy education.

Do take note that for SIT accountancy, it depends on which focus you intend to specialize in, as stated in the singapore ca website, applied finance, audit, management accounting and taxation focus are only eligible for foundation level.
But corporate accounting focus allows you to skip foundation and go straight to professional level,

SIT is now more like a "dumping ground" for NUS NTU SMU

In the sense that their GPA cut off is only around 0.2/3 below the big 3
(NTU accountancy is 3.80, SIT accountancy is around 3.6 for Non-Relevant dip, for relevant it's around 3.4)

Take Unisim for example, I got a friend 2.45 GPA got into biz management
2.45 is in NO WAY you can even get an interview from SIT LOL

SIT's vision is to be Singapore's University for Applied Learning meaning the forte here is to be where Theory Integrates with Application for students to gain a better understanding of what they have learnt compared to their peers in other AUs
It is a heavily Industry-Focused University
That is the direction that SIT wants to go into

If you think that it's the new SIM or uniSIM then I say, the direction of your understanding about SIT is entirely misaligned.

I am merely sharing my experience last year when I applied to SIT accountancy?

It's up to you whether to trust my words or not?
No gunpoint or whatsoever

Maybe you can go to SIT's admission forum page (2016 or later) and browse through their pages and you can roughly gauge the GPA for the respective courses
Some are high (acct) others not so high (those eng courses)
But bear this in mind, I can confidently say the GPA "COP" for SIT's degrees is only around 0.2 - 0.4 below NTUs/SMUs

Go to their admission forum and gauge it yourself, then compare to NTUs IGP COP
