SIT UOG VS NTU

Any advice guys? Currently considering SIT as it is only 2 years. Don't know whether its recognised in SG.

Accredited by PEB on the other hand no idea.
Looks like not accredited but I could be wrong, call peb to check not hard

"All graduates holding a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from the United Kingdom, are required to supplement it with a postgraduate degree acceptable to the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore (PEB) to register as professional engineers with the PEB. "

So does that means after SIT degree, must have at least a master then can register into PEB ?

For NTU, NUS grad they have to work for a few years under PEB guidelines to be qualified right ?

Lastly I would like to ask is one must be qualified by PEB then is recognised as an Engineer ? So before that after their degree they are kind of an associate engineer ?

this means their Bach (honors) degree are not accredited by PEB. if U fly to Glasglow to read it is accredited no need to go Masters.

NTU and NUS degree are accredited degree, to be qualified and apply for PE everyone with a accredited degree needs workings experience.

very few jobs required one to become PE. plenty of threads on this topic. which is why PE makes good $$.

hmm i just read some info from the net about PE.. so basically it kinds of have high knowledge on the field they specialise on and thus able to justify/testify in court for engineering point of view. But usually not alot of people go for PE right? I guess most people just specialise in their own area and be some head of R&D or whatever ?

so is it ok to get a degree to know for sure U cannot become PE as your degree is unaccredited? maybe ok for some, others want to keep that option open who knows in 5-10yrs down the road.. if U PE option is req and U don't have the paper then. how? change job? or go back to study?

Hmm so I guess for SIT engineering students got to go for masters that are accredited by PEB to safeguard themselves..
