Just saw the wifi version on sale at Alldealasia :s22:

Products so popular thus everyone try to sell. :D
So far we are the only distributor focus on retails market.
This will bring convenience to the customers.
This show we are serious player and committed on products support and warranty.

We have new products under development to combat with GoPro 4.
We want to be the leader rather being a market follower.

We will be using Sony CMOS to have better video quality than current SJ4000. Adapt new design which is smaller than SJ4000 and wifi capability.
With all these cost and selling price would be higher as this will be the high end model.

Sneak preview :D

Comparing with SJ4000

Neat Flex PCB, no cable soldering like SJ4000.
Solid metal frame for hard action.

Latest Novatek Chipset, would like touse Ambarella but cost too high.

Hi Sam

We will not be able to match gopro 4 with low price.
what we are trying to develop is better than current sj4000 and smaller in size.
We are using Sony CMOS for the new product video tested seem btter comparing to SJ4000.

We are not sure on the final prices but it could be in range of $249

Is there a side by side comparison of the posh non-wifi and wifi edition video output. I wanna compare the video quality difference. I heard that the barrel distort for the 2 are a bit different.

Sinmarket can u post a side by side comparison. I want to know the quality difference. Thanks.

Red Filter and Yellow filter available now at JAVA Bikes
It fits SJ4000 and Gopro.
Aluminum CNC frame.
Please note that this is meant for gopro but will fit for SJ4000 too.
May not be perfect fit for SJ4000 but will do the job.

Red Filter: used in 10-20m below water around noon to restore the red light absorbed by the water

Yellow Filter: used in blue, shallow and tropical water in the early morning

Hi Simpleton

if you compare the old SJ4000, its viewing angle is not real 170 degree wide as it claims. I Did come across such discussion in the oversea forum that the actual viewing angle is smaller than 170 degree.

For most wide angle lenses barrel distortion is unavoidable.
But this can be easily repaired with software when you do the editing.

The new POSH SJ4000 wifi, we have change to wide angle 6 layers glass lense to ensure we have 170 degree viewing angle as committed.

Looking at the physical lenses itself you can see the curvature comparison.
Looking at the image/Video captured you can view wider angle.

Feel free to drop by the Java Bikes showroom to see the difference on the wide angle.

:)

I don't mind waiting for the newer model.

Hope with the Sony CMOS, it will be acceptable in low light. Hope it does 4k/30fps too. So many hopes...:s13:

For a srp of around $249, it's a steal if it's at least as good as Gopro 3+ Black nevermind Gopro 4.
