icic, pardon my ignorance

how many weeks do they spend in OCS? upon graduation and completion of COCC do they lead back the same cohort with whom they did BMT with?

my friend did commission as commando officer last week together with the rest of OCS batch, so it is roughly the same timing as an officer? ~9mths?

when he completed his SCT training, he was already counted as a spec and already wearing the cdo vocation and maroon beret

I believe US Ranger is worn on right sleeve and is yellow colour wording. Our Ranger badge is on left sleeve and is red colour wording.

looks like US Navy/Marines Parachutist Badge, not sure.

all 3 of his foreign badges are US military parachutist badges

i'd seen the Red/Black Special Forces (International) badge a few times before. Anybody knows who issues it?

I googled and ebay'ed, cannot find such a badge leh

I have recently chanced upon a photo of an old school-mate of mine. In that photo of 7 men, all had the usual Singapore parachute wings, free-fall wings, Thai wings and ranger tabs. Some had the usual professional diver badges.

Then it got more interesting. Some of them had the US special forces tab and/or US navy seal trident. Other badges amongst them include US army and navy airborne, Australian wings, pathfinder, etc, etc. I wonder what else that are NOT shown.

My old NS CO had West-German airborne wings and crest.

the Major's tab is Special Forces right?

well in the CDO contingent, they have a mixture of what Dixon posted and the Thai airborne, usually they have the Thai only.
