Skip Uni and go ACCA?

I'm a year 2 student studying accountancy in a local polytechnic and wondering if skipping uni and going straight for ACCA is advisable? Interested in the ACCA-ISCA joint pathway program.

Yeah I'm only in my second year and still have like 2 years to think about it, but I heard that it's possible to clinch a spot in NTU in year 3 before I graduate. yes I have big dreams..so I want to make sure that it's achievable otherwise I'll do something else. Has anyone skipped local U degree, went straight to ACCA and still secured a reasonable paying job in the finance industry?

The ACCA-ISCA joint pathway program is no longer applicable to you.
If you have not started your ACCA courses before or on 2013, you can no longer attain Chartered Accountant of Singapore through ACCA.

To attain Chartered Accountant of Singapore, you have to go through SQP.
Minimum entry requirement to SQP Foundation is a recognised 3 year degree.

To apply for a singapore university, you need at least 5 semesters worth of poly results. There are more choices for accountancy programmes today that includes, NUS, NTU, SMU, SIT, UniSIM Full/Part-time.

If you wish to find out more about your further education pathways, approach your poly lecturers, I'm sure they will know a lot more.

It's about 3.6 now but I'm only halfway through the course, so I'm not too sure if I would be able to get a spot in a local u when I graduate. Thanks for the reply by the way!

what is reasonable for U? big dreams seem to imply $10k-20K jobs.
since we know the ACCA-ISCA isn't an option, is ACCA still an option?
if U don't want to be CA but in finance industry making big $$ again is ACCA is still an option?
