No wonder booting up was so much faster on my gf laptop then my own PC.

but some time it depends cos I tired with and without a hdd, its only around 5sec faster without HDD.

Too many background processes were starting up. Go search for ms.config, startup and reduce unwanted apps from starting during startup. May or may nt help.

Another thing is mapped drive like NAS folder, this will slow down the boot process too. Also check your background running processes, disable unnecessary ones.

Most likely the applications starting up are increasing the boot time.

The mobo and bios has an impact too. BIOS menu timer set to 0 seconds, fastboot, msconfig (no GUI boot), use the current Intel RST driver etc.
Hybrid shutdown also a few seconds faster.

But some laptop BIOSes are very optimised like thinkpads so boot time is very fast.

May also want to check if you have fast startup enabled:

Type Control Panel in the search box.
Click Control Panel.
Click Power Options.
Click Choose what the power buttons do.
Click Change settings that are currently unavailable.
Scroll down to Shutdown settings and uncheck Turn on fast startup.
Click Save changes.
