Hi all,

Thought of posting here wondering if you guys encounter slow webpage loading using Safari in Mac for the past 2 days. This happen to me on random website which sometimes will get stuck midway while loading.

I use Windows at home to do a test, and check with my ISP as well and both shows no issue. My windows pc is able to load every website smoothly.

I gave a call to Apple to check if there is any maintenance issues on hand, but they were unaware of what caused my issue.

Would appreciate it anyone can help to resolve my slow loading issue on Safari.

Just to add on, initially I thought it was my router issue but I switched to a new router and the issue of slow loading still persists.

1) Try changing your DNS setting.

Go to system preferences->network->advanced->TCP/IP->Configure IPv6. Default should be "automatically", see if changing to "link-local only" results in any improvement. Don't know what that does, but this thread might help (I got the ideas from there).

2) Try deleting / disabling your Safari extensions and see if this solves the problem, then re-enable them one by one to see which one is the problem.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. I have not tried changing dns setting as previously I did not have to touch any of those. I'm just curious as the issue only occurs for 2 days now and previously it was smooth.

For safari extensions, I did not have any enabled. Hence doubt the issue comes from this.
