NETs no though, paywave/credit cards i heard is 2% was it? SLS downstairs got posb/dbs ATM if you need if not you can paynow to them also.
What bought? Big item ?I just purchased a router from Dynacore in SLS. I wanted to pay by NETS but they will charge 1% extra. So decided to pay by PayNow.
Their profit too little to become gst company. They have no choiceIm surprise the practice is still prevalent this day and age
But however no complain because good deals there

This is a longstanding practice and it exists cos they're not big enough to strike a bargain with the credit companies to either waive or reduce the charge or have large enough turnover or profit margin to absorb the credit charge... it used to be free using NETS to pay but now there's also that 1% charge... so I use cash... cos I'm not a fan of PayNow or Paylah cos of the direct link to one's bank account... best would be to have a general e-wallet like the Touch & Go App that Malaysia has which can be topped up By credit card... you get credit card points, merchant doesn't have to pay credit fees and everyone goes home happy...I meaned the nets surcharge
But any way, revenue above $1 million dollar need to be gst registered hence most should be because one graphical card already 1 thousand dollar and up
Alternatively, everyone should have more than one bank account, where the one linked to Paynow is for daily use and doesn't hold too much cash at any one time. It blows my mind when I see people drawing money from ATMs with high 6 digit balance accounts and leaving it for the world/next person in queue to see. This is a longstanding practice and it exists cos they're not big enough to strike a bargain with the credit companies to either waive or reduce the charge or have large enough turnover or profit margin to absorb the credit charge... it used to be free using NETS to pay but now there's also that 1% charge... so I use cash... cos I'm not a fan of PayNow or Paylah cos of the direct link to one's bank account... best would be to have a general e-wallet like the Touch & Go App that Malaysia has which can be topped up By credit card... you get credit card points, merchant doesn't have to pay credit fees and everyone goes home happy...

I believed he is correct to mentioned $1mil revenue or turnover before cost of sales, profit is used to calculated after cost of sales.$1 million profit. not revenue. different
