Hi, may i ask if 2k is alright to start a small dividend portfolio? I am serving ns now and don't see any need to spend alot of money, so maybe this little amount of money can be invest in somewhere.. Can any pros guide me? Thanks!
Buy either OCBC Blue Chip Investment Plan or POSB Invest Saver which invest from 100/month...For OCBC BCIP, you can choose the stocks such as the 3 telcos and banks stock...For POSB, you can only purchase Nikko AM STI ETF..
Other than that, Standard Chartered is good with 0.2% commission and no minimum commission...
If you not eligible for the Standard Chartered, DBS Vickers Cash upfront is better with 0.18% commission or $18 minimum...

Buy 1 lot of CMT.
West Gate Mall coming soon.![]()
thanks for the detailed info. For beginners like me, is it more recommended to get the OCBC BCIP? And there's no REIT stocks there right? But is it the right time to get the telco stocks now ><?
Apart from investing myself thru SCB
If it's for your opinion, should i get the POSB Invest saver / OCBC BCIP, i have read up the 2 different opinions on forum, bur can't seem to make a decision. And also for these 2 rsp, if i do not sell it off, will i receive quarterly dividend, will it be automatically?
