Hi All,

I'm looking to build a small form PC (slim tower mATX) for basic use, would like you guys' input and recommendations.

Budget $1k (inclusive of a 23" LED monitor). Looking to get something like:

i5 + mobo w/ wifi
128-256GB SSD (I have a old 500GB sata HDD lying around)
8GB Ram
GPU (Anything cheap and bang for buck?)
Case + PSU
23" monitor
OS Win8 (is Win7 still available?)

Thanks! :o:o

What kind of basic use are you referring to? Basic uses for most wouldn't need Core i5, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD at all.

Your budget of 1k is not enough

Looking at building a slim tower. Any way I can downgrade some parts to keep within 1k?

If needed then additional hundred or so is okay..
