Hi bros. I have a small problem with my U2415. maybe someone had the issue before and know what's the problem.

My U2415 is connected via DP cable to my GTX 760.

Now the problem is... if I leave the PC on for, let's say overnight, normally will switch off the monitor right?

Morning when I wake up and switch on the monitor, there will be some lines across the screen. These white lines are moving like static like that.

Not sure how to describe it... kinda like in movie, when the aliens trying to transmit or block the signal like that.

Off and on back still the same. Need to restart the PC to be back normal.

It won't happen if I switch off the monitor just for a while. Only happens when off for probably a few hours...

Any ideas?

i have same problem with another monitor connected via dvi-d. sometimes after waking up from sleep, there will be lines on screen.

Solution is move mouse to let the graphics card really wake up. then off and on monitor until the lines are gone (usually once or twice).

So issue isnt really monitor.

Im sure if u use d-sub it wont happen

I have 1 more issue. Hope someone can advise.

When I switch on my PC, the monitor will be blank until it comes to the LOG IN screen.

Now this is a problem if I want to get into the BIOS. I have to wait until I see the LOG IN screen, then click RESTART from there. After which then I can see the POST screen.

Any idea? Thanks.

Mmm do u enable post screen on ur bios? can be the system bootup too fast for the monitor to react.
