Smartphone in tekong

Hi guys, I'm going in to tekong next month! I called up MINDEF and they said that my samsung S2 (with camera) is within the requirements for bringing in a handphone.

Anyone who brought an S2 or any other smartphone with camera with into tekong care share their experiences or advice? (Battery life, connectivity, problems in camp etc) :s22::s22:
