Yeah. All the time get stolen!!
The sergeant are the ones stealing them! And you will get extra duty for the mistakes.
The first few days, they will go through a list of things allowed or ban.
Just follow.

PES BP = overweight??
It's the same bmt but with even more exercise and weight loss goals.

You mean rifles stolen from locked or unsecured cabinets? I'd be surprised if it is the former.

Yeah, I'm a bit bui. I was wondering the admin time as compared to normal BMT, since it is stretched out longer.

Ok. here the thing. you are required to store your rifle in your locker at times.

Your commanders may at times come in to check if you lock your lockers. if u didn't, they will steal ur rifle and say bye bye to your weekend.

I never heard of thieves ripping open the door from it's hinges. If that's really the case, you see how many lock downs they will have in tekong.

I don't think your platoon mates etc will do themselves the disfavour of doing that.

Well u r not wrong in having the thought about the risk of bringing expensive stuff... it's more likely that it will gone missing if you never lock it, then u lock it and it goes missing. cause as I said, the rifle will be under lock in ur locker some of the times...

Also, u will see how shi!t standby universe is, if ppl report stuff missing.

PES BP should have more time

Thanks for the insight, reddevil! Locks are a must then!

If u lock it, they wouldn't go pry ur locker apart.

but if u dun, it's ur own fault. so the security of ur own belongings are at the mercy of u remembering to lock your lockers.

you should hv more time. it's like PTP

unsecured lockers.

maybe more admin time in the first 3 weeks, and the very end, if you pass ippt, soc, and whatever.
The middle of bmt got so many program, so less admin time.
after you get you rifle, it's game on.
barrel pull through until your hands numb.

One more thing, if you don't secure your locker, they will pour everything out, even the locker itself will get thrown out the bunk!?!
Then they give you 1 min, stand by universe... oh man....

eh. i think there's quite a big difference between the enhanced PES A/B bmt and PTP PES A/B + PES BP bmt.

the latter group certainly will have much more time relative to the the former regardless.

Yeah.

Back then it was 5.5 day workweek.
We had a bit more time.

Now it's 5 day, I'm not sure how it works.

haha...
Yeah.. old school.

Anyway, if TS turn off the phone (during the day) and have power pack (if allowed).
I don't see how it can't last a week.
You can also bring extra batteries (if allowed). Can buy 5, one for each day.

i think turning off and on consumes more batt. I will just turn on airplane mode instead
