SMARTPHONES TEKONG?

Hi all,

I need help in this.
I called up CMPB asking whether is smartphones which have their camera removed are able to be brought in. Person replied YES. But screen size must be smaller than 4.3 inch. Is this true guys ?

Need answer ASAP to make plans. HAHA
iphone 4s and iphone 5 can bring in la like that?

Another question, is there 3g service in tekong to use WHATSapp serve net etc

Hi there, I dont really know what you mean by posted to CMPB. But the enlistment letter came to me and my intake will be 11 JUNE. @ tekong cause i failed NAPfa test. So im not sure whether they would allow smartphones.

Im getting confused because some said
-smartphones with cameras can
-smartphones with camera removed
-some say cannot even bring smartphone. STRICTLY non - cam phones, like NOkai old version

Please help.

Yes can bring iPhone 2,3g,4,4s & 5 .. .all under 4.3" ...... Xperia arc S or V, BBZ10.. all max at 4.3" u can use these phones as reference

iPod with a camera was a no no for my company as it was labelled under entertainment device and not a phone. You can bring first day and act blur.

Charger mostly cannot, even with those without usb cable. 'Charge but don't get caught' if successfully smuggled. if first day they say cannot, act blur blur again if u want to surrender and they will return you on your first bookout.

Charger with usb cable, afaik.. DIE DIE cannot. just don't bother bringing it. But still.... can try lah first day..

Battery charger, some company can and some cannot, again, buy those with non-usb cable.

3G at tekong, as long as u are not deep in the jungle, it's not bad. I remember checking out iP5 release when i was in camp.


TEKONG is not a red camp. Those red camp are the strict ones that only allows smartphone with camera removed with proven certificate either from telco or supplier or just an old nokia.

I think he either expect them to treat it one by one or got psychic ability, will noe by touching or seeing
