Went to take a cup of drinks for a few minutes.
entire aircon room smells like burning plastic.
turn off switch.... after seeing BBQ smoke coming out of my chassis.

Suspect its PSU. I m using corsair ax1200.
Give it a smell .... yes... something burnt inside.

just wonder if it is possible to repair or replace the burnt capacitators or what? Liddat throw away... abit wasted reh.

havent open it up.... dun dare try turn on again. Big fire later in middle of the night.

You're kidding, right? Use the PSU again and you risk killing off any components that survived the barbecue.

Not urgent den send for servicing, if urgent, find a friend for spare PSU. Or buy 2nd hand, or buy a new one, once RMA finished, return to ur friend. sell to others the 2nd hand PSU or ur new PSU of u dun want to keep as spare.

BTW u should cook something when the fire coming out :s13:

Just joking on the last part =:p

Are you using AX1200 on the rig on your right? If yes, it's really ROFL.

Anyway, rma it. They will replace for you. :)

Probably trolling.

It's rather unlikely someone will use a Corsair AX1200 with a Core 2 Duo system.

I run my E8400 rig off a 220W PSU.

Corsair AX is their highest range lah. Although i dont know much about psu. But it feels like corsair range of psu other than the CX model. They have this irritating loud click sound from the relays when turned on. Kinda irritating and loud lol.
