If i were u I will choose to go work and get a part-time degree and your degree might not be from unisim assuming that ur results are good enough to secure a place in smu.

u can get a part-time degree from nus or ntu.

think of cpf, bonus, aws, coporate benefits like dental and medical benefits that u will never enjoy if u study full-time.

bottom line is whatever u do, dun regret.

I would only recommend you to work part-time and study part-time if the pay is good, about 3k a month. SMU grad median income is about 3.6-3.8k a month. This is because SMU and SMU career centre is said to have super good links with the banking/finance industry and it is easy to secure a well paying job when you come out of SMU.

If you are sacrificing a place in SMU just so you can work at macdonalds or some no name SME then I would say dont waste your time, you are better off just going to SMU.

Its very difficult to refute that an SMU degree is better than a UniSIM degree. Sure, you may earn an extra income if you go unisim route, but when you graduate, the SMU grad will be placed above you when you apply for a new job.

smu full time.
is tough to study and work at the same time unless your time management is very good.
