Snall perfume shops

hi guys,

I have a question for the perfume experts. Most shopping malls will have these small cramped shops selling different brands of perfume, toiletries, etc. and of course there are plenty of such shops in the lucky plaza area.

The prices of their perfumes are usually significantly cheaper than brand boutiques, departmental stores and sephora. Are these authentic or fakes? Or some might say "watered-down" versions of the fragrance? Appreciate all your responses! Thanks!

What i can say is its a game of risk that sometimes even store owners would not know. The stocks may come from same source but different distro.They probably sell cheaper because of lower rentals, lesser staff, selling varieties of brand perfumes just to keep the price low. If you just sell one particular brand you definitely have to factor in costs like marketing, a&p,labour, logistics and rental; which is bear by that brand company thus the difference in pricetag. Correct me if im wrong thats how i feel and understand.

Another thing is that boutiques do not sell testers while some small shops do and the price is definitely lower. Downside is you'll missed out the retail box and sometimes the bottle caps.

If you want true blue authentic stuff best to get from its boutique or authorized retail shop. If you are in for a cheap thrill you may try out the other retail stores or online.
