Seriously to me its fine to remove the 3.5mm jack. Wireless is the way forward since BT headphones/earbuds are so cheap nowadays.

Well it has been speculated all along that apple is going to remove the 3.5mm port. It's not the first time apple has removed something major from their product (look at the optical disk drive on the MacBook).

Soon, competitors would try to follow apple by removing headphone port too. Embrace the change.

Change to what. They carn't use lightning connector since is for Apple.
