So I tried withdrawing from 7 shops since I started trying out soCash abt 3 weeks ago:
- 7-11 need purchase. I don’t mind since I want to get a drink but of course if we want to max the returns, this is not ideal
- 1 underpass shop - not welcoming. I only withdraw once and 1 time only
- 1 shop I specifically walked to say they don’t have soCash anymore even tho it still appear in the app
- 1 minimart was okay. Not specially warmed but didn’t seem to allow multiple request. I withdraw 1 time and leave.
- 1 as above.
- 2 shops were welcoming and allow more than 1 devices more than once (I help my SO to withdraw)

So yes. I think this is a good idea coz I forgot to bring my wallet and I only needed a phone which I have with me. But if the shop owner is not welcoming, it defeated this idea no?

You need to respect the shop owners. They must consider whether the benefits can outweigh the trouble.

I have been to some shops. Some are welcoming and into the game but some are just not interested. Just avoid the latter.

In my area, I can find 2 shops which are enthusiastic.

Right I understand. I respect them of course. That’s why most of the time I withdraw only once, unless the owner is exceptionally welcoming. I also only withdraw 1-2 times a week. Maybe my experiences are not as much as the rest la.

Nice that u found 2 shops ard ur area. For mine, I only found 1 which is today today haha. She is not warm but she turn out to be nice and let me withdraw more than once. The other one is far away, I only go once a week

Eh I didn’t try to go there a few times but I only asked if I can withdraw more times since I gotta buy stuff and I did buy a packet of sweet and withdraw from them once.

One thing bad about soCash is that withdrawal involves a human factor as compare to an ATM machine. If there is no on-going rebates, most will switch back to ATM.

She's inside the news stand stall. But the shop name is different from what the app shows. I think it has a SingTel logo on the shop banner.

Does anyone know the difference between the 2 different logos for the shops? Initially I thought only the blue logo gives cashback, but today I tried the other one and that one also gave cashback.

I tot just different type of shops, and all will give cashback coz it’s app dependent, not shop dependent.

Some shops are. I know of some that discontinued cos they find it bothersome to entertain us. Yet again there are some others who is welcoming
