Hi, just want to ask if it's common that the sofa came with colour very differently from the show room. I understand that the lightings will cause some difference. The company is actually nice is resolving this. They came down twice with the catalog and we went to the showroom to confirm what we saw. This is what we saw and selected in the show room.

We brought the catalog out to the sun so no more spotlight shining.

when they went to your home with the catalog, did the sample piece match the delivered sofa?

Yep. That's the perplexed thing. It matches. Once it's at my home, it turned into this greyish color. Twice somemore. First was they came down with the factory catalog,it matches and we were very puzzled. Then we decide to went to to the showroom to see again. It indeed seems to be darker brown. Even brought out to the sunlight as shown in the first attachment. So the salesperson thought maybe showroom and factory catalog mismatched. They went to the factory and check and discovered its the same. And brought the showroom catalog to my place and crosscheck with our sofa. The same.

So conclusion is the lighting somehow made such a drastic difference in the color. If it's the same brown shade but lighter because of lightings I still can understand but to receive a greyish sofa instead of brown as we thought chosen initially doesn't really sit well with us. So want to ask if such a occurrence is common.

Yep same. I thought it looked different also but we did put it side by side with the sofa and it's the same.

For example, showroom lighting is 4,000k (more yellowish) whereas your home is 6000k (bluish). But I doubt this will happen la. One is brown, the other is grey. A lot of difference.
