Hello.. can anyone advise what is the maximum size of the sofa that can be delivered by HDB lifts?
I measured the height of the lift is 2.33m. Does it mean my maximum length is 2.3m or must be less?
Your purchased sofa doesn't come unpackaged - there will be some form of protection for transportation and handling.
Getting a 2.3m long sofa could end up being 2.5m long with all the abovementioned packaging.
Also, don't forget to factor the space needed to actually get the sofa (no matter how large or small it is) into the lift. And what of the deliverymen? Do they have space to get into the lift together with the sofa?
Your 2.33m measurement is the interior height of the lift. The door opening is likely to be much smaller.
If you are worried about size constraints - try getting a modular sofa where separate smaller pieces can be attached together to make a larger seating area, rather than just 1 giant sofa.
