[Software Update] 10.0.2 Discussions

Have experienced the following annoyances from time to time on 10.0.2

1) Lack of sensitivity for touchid now from home screen one in a while
2) Initial poor battery life. Solved by doing a restarting.
3) From the search screen, occassionaly the keyboard doesn't appear or lags in appearing. Perhaps this is a problem occuring coz have 3rd party keyboards installed as well. Vaguely recall reading someone posting about this in nintype community iirc.

I get this from time to time. The other issue is sometimes no sound when msg comes in.

I am not sure if it's a bug or something but this was what happened

I was calling Citibank just now and had to jump through loops and hoops of verification or ic, selecting the menus. When I finally reached the call operator, I could hear the operator but they can't hear me.

Tried 3 more times and same thing.

Called my mums number on 7+ and could get through and voice was clear.

Used my dads iPhone 6 Plus to call Citibank and could get through.

Tested with another friend on iPhone 6 Plus and still can hear each other.

My working theory is that if you are on the phone for sometime, the microphone would auto shut down?

also hate the new music app

it's like changing interface for the sake of making changes but totally sux

Ios10 is buggy

that's y I stayed on iOS 9 for my 6s/6s+.
didn't want to upgrade.

if I want upgrade I would buy the new i7/7+
but I will wait till few months then buy cause of the hissgate and some other issue.

I'm using iphone 7 plus and still on IOS 10.0.1. Have missed a lot of WhatsApp message due to no notification/SMS tone and sometimes delayed in receiving. Wondering is it really iOS or phone problem. Wife iPhone 6 Plus on iOS 10.0.1 can receive whatsapp notification. Will updating to iOS 10.0.2 help?

Also i turned on 4G for my phone but was unable to view my ipcamera at home. Turn off 4G can view liao. Previously on Sony Z5P can view on 4G network. On M1 btw

u shud update then reset all settings. it helped cleared up some bugs i encountered...

Guess it only works for a few. I did the same, but end up missing notification.

i encountered the whatsapp delay issue as well. what i did was to uninstall whatsapp and dl again. that fixed it for now. try it and see if it works for u too.

Will my sms especially group chat be restored if i reinstall and restore from icloud backup for whatsapp? Only worry that i will be out of the group chat and need admin to add me back again

Do you have the bug where all apps revert to be ON?

Had to manually turn off one by one.
