just be prepared that it wont be as smooth as ios 9 for now.
stutter here and there but overall, very stable.

So far the only major problem is multitasking pane. Sometimes it just refuses to load into the app when you tap on the card and the whole thing hangs there.

Yea official way through beta profile. Currently have to literally press down the home button for Touch ID to work

I would say that there isn't much of a difference. In fact it is the same build.

Usually the developer beta will be released first then the public beta be released a while later.

(Can't confirm whether if there is a major bug during developer release, Apple could at least solve it before pushing out the public beta.)
