Why don't you back up your files and data, before wiping your phone and setting it up as a new device?

This way you start clean for a major OS upgrade.

yup I did that. wiped phone off, and started as new. drain like hell.

just did a wipe and restore.. lets see how it goes

My normal usage BEFORE the update (11.0.x) was about 12 hours

After update, it can only last me 4-hours. w t f ...

If this goes on in 11.1, I'm selling it off.

This is VERY disappointing for a big company like Apple

I experienced battery drain too. Quite bad, but not as bad as yours. I already switched to the other camp because of those weird issues I'm experiencing that frustrates my daily use.

Heard 11.1 resolves the battery issue. You may wish to wait till that version and see how it goes.

Ya. This time round, thanks to this ios11 .... dampened my initial desire in getting iphoneX /8+ .

I will wait till everything stable and good.... then maybe consider switching back. As of now, surprisingly enjoying the other camp.

based on all e feedback I've seen here n Reddit, it seems that iOS 11 has only been optimized for 8/8plus n I assume X. hate to say this but looks like Apple has left e older models out to dry this time

Then it's probably the apps you are running. Because one half of the issue is the OS, the apps in question is the other.

I get decent battery life out of my 6S+, about slightly more than a day's worth. But that's probably because I don't use the apps that are giving issues.

So, im not the only one here who feel so this way.

Playing pogo and i see my battery drop like no tomorrow.

But other than pogo, the rest are ok.

Sometimes mine drops 2% at a time.

Is the Facebook app installed? I have switched off all notifications from Facebook (except the badge) and the battery seems to be better now. Lasting till the evening instead of till afternoon.

Well true. Even when I'm not playing pokemon go, just browsing HWZ forum, messaging and other apps also drop quite fast, though not as fast as gaming.

Had the problem of autolock not working after 11.0.3. But everything is fine after shutdown and reboot.

Using iphone 8 now with 11.0.3. To be honest, battery life is ok for me, can feel it's better than my iphone 7. BUT, when you play pogo, battery drain like no tomorrow. Not sure if it's pogo issue, or iOS issue.

I using 7+ with 11.0.2.

Actually the battery life looks ok to me. Still can last me till I home. But normally can last till 10pm like that. Now like 8/9pm.

I think pogo. it uses AR and these games not optimize to last longer with phone batt capacity..well compare to other games..

Pogo can disable AR. And iOS10 with iphone 7 has decent drainage than current. It's too obvious.

Anyone’s apps constantly needing to reload when bringing back up from multitasking menu?? Telegram, discord, fb and safari also have to refresh each app each time I switch around... (not cold launch)
