Done. All good here. No noticable loss or gain with battery life.

Anyone having app crash issues? I'm on 11.1.1 Problems that I have encountered are app (FB, IG, Darts Fury, What's App) crashing. Mentioned are my frequently used apps.

What I did to remedey this was to backup phone. Erase everything and setup my phone as new again. The same issue start to happen.

Something more serious was, my phone blacked out. It looked like it was off but was not. The haptic feedback was there when pressing the home button. Plugged in power, tried to hard reset but nothing worked at all.

Finally after 20 minutes or so, my home screen appeared once again like nothing happened. Happened twice this week.

Could this be a hardware issue? Left with a month of warranty left.

No battery issues or whatsoever noticed.

Try doing a settings reset.
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.

YouTube iOS App Causing Battery Drain, Overheating Issues for Some Users

anyone encountering this?

Screen-Shot-5.jpg

YouTube has confirmed it is working to resolve a bug in its mobile app that causes significant battery drain on Apple devices, even when the app is running in the background.

First covered by tech blog PiunikaWeb, the issue has been noted by several MacRumors forum members, as well as on Reddit and Twitter, and appears to be mainly affecting devices running iOS 11.1.1.

In addition to battery drain, some iPhone users have reported that the YouTube app is causing their device to run much hotter than usual when watching videos, although the two issues don't seem to occur together in every case.

Yes, I have this type lag as well. How do you resolve it?

Hmm usually I’ll force close apps that I don’t use regularly and YouTube is one of them. Looking at the photo, that’s some rogue-app like drain.
