Can try google keep. I migrated to that from the iOS Notes. I think not bad! You can try! Recently optimised for x also

Btw iOS notes on mine is smooth. No lag at all.

Updated and my ip7 became ipx space grey. But I want silver leh, can use AppleCare to exchange?

those who say ios note is smooth please state how big is your database? like now many notes nad on 7+ or the non plus?

as mine got neary 1k notes
i still prefer ios note as user friendly
so i m now looking to evernotes and bear and others

456 notes. No problem on ip7+ and ipx.

I got overs 1k Notes lot before on iOS 10 no issue but after iOS 11 it become lag bad I try reduced to 600+ seem better seem like iOS 11 really not optimized yet

Wow.. 400+ and 1k notes?? I thought i have 270 notes already lots of “not sure still got use notes”, but just leave it as text base dont occupy much space...

Lagging wise didn’t experience. But it did happen twice that my update and latest ios notes on icloud was not reflected on my iphone and ipad, happen to each device one time each. Had to sign out of icloud and sign back in then after the sync, things back to normal..

Not sure what was wrong.. However, this happen when my phone was iOS 10+ and the ipad was iOS 11 or so....

Ya I end I clear and migrate my over 1.5k iOS notes to another notes app

So from 1.5k notes down to 500+ the lag manage to be better before on iOS 10 no issue with 1.5k notes but ios11 lags guessed its iOS 11 fault

I did a re-install recently and did not notice the issue you mentioned.

Control centre doesnt turn it off. If you want it totally off have to go settings like last time
