The home screen doesn’t freeze anymore after 3D touching a folder and pressing it. Took a while but glad Apple fixed it. The stutter on 3D Touch is also fixed. Let’s just hope the battery life does improve too. Thumbs up for Apple.

Noticed a bug in 11.1. My default maps app keeps location perpetually on even when totally closed. This is in spite of my settings to only use location while in app. No choice but to choose ‘never’ for this app and use google.
Didn’t have this issue in 11.0.3.

Any improvement to battery life for 7+?

1. close any unused apps.
2. stop watching videos and play games, it is a bad habit and it will drain most battery.
3. if you want to improve the battery even more, turn off the phone, full charge and don't use it. it will last longer.

my phone battery can last a day plus without playing games and watch video. just normal surf some net, whatsapp and read some FB.

Should I update both my 6s and 6s plus to IOS 11.1? Scared of battery drain issues, and they are working well currently on IOS 9.2.

On the other hands, gonna update the X this Friday, 1st thing after phone activation is to update to IOS 11.1 before doing anything else.

Should update now and prepare for 11.1 then restore from backup on your X.

I actually am going to manual setup the X. Once everything is done and tested, my SIM will move over from the 6s.
