I am not sure what the point of these posts are. Do you find them fun? All of these are false information and defeat the purpose of this thread. The only use of these posts is to make it harder for people who want to come here for genuine information.

This is not the worst I've seen. I've seen people spamming on Reddit on iPhone X pre-order on 28th Oct and these threads are being upvoted and not even removed by moderators for misinformation.

The update has somewhat improved my battery life, for me at least. I did restore to an iCloud backup due to some issues with Airdrop. I’m getting close to 2 hours of usage and 9 hours of standby time with 90% left.

Most of my usage were very, very little such as 5 mins of Facebook, 23 mins in the Apple Watch apps and 50 minutes of background music and 3 alarms this morning.

Could this be because the percentage is not showing the right amount of battery left?

according to one of the bros here it is a way to express that the update is ok and good to go. well, they have a wierd sense of humour. :s22:

It’s not a problem. It’s expected.

Previously was 5W, now assuming it’s 7.5W, of cos more heat generated. Then Apple did declare that for safety concern, battery will stop charging at 80% when it’s over the temperature threshold. Getting will resume when phone cools down.

My problem is battery % don’t go up but phone and charger indicates still charging. Same for 2 different wireless chargers

These trolls (maybe the same person too) just trying to be funny. I doubt they even use iPhone.

Epic good batt life on iOS 11.2 one of the best in iOS 11

Agreed. 5 hours of usage and 18 hours of standby with 48% remaining. Very solid indeed. Seldom used it during work but had 40 mins of background audio, 40 mins of safari, 40 minutes of YouTube with speaker and connected to Apple Watch. Cellular signal about 1 bar at most. WiFi connected.

Safari tabs not refreshing often too. Hopefully this is the most stable iOS 11 version and hope they keep it the same or improve abit on iOS 11.3.
