usually my ipx batt would be around 75% by now

but my usage pattern is still the same and it is still 89% now

From 11.3, it has corrupted my X’s default camera app (keeps freezing on launch and sometimes self-rebooting). 11.4 is no diff.

with iMessage on iCloud enabled on both iPhone and Mac, does that mean "Text Message Forwarding" is no longer needed?

From 11.3, it has corrupted my X’s default camera app (keeps freezing on launch and sometimes self-rebooting). 11.4 is no diff.

Time to factory reset? Idk why you waited for an update thinking it would be solved.

Did that to no avail as well. But anyway I just had a chat session with Apple support, was asked to send a diagnostics of my phone to them and was told passed the test, so it’s a software issue. Was told that only way to resolve is to restore from a backup via iTunes as it will install back a fresh copy of iOS as compared to doing it via iPhone settings as it won’t install a fresh copy.

BTW all the time I’ve been using OTA for iOS updates.

think you still need it to forward new text notifications

Yup I guess that is the only way then.

Yes just did a restore, so far seems good. Since Apple support said my X's diagnostics have passed and it's not a hardware failure, there shouldn't be a reason the camera will fail again.
