scary right, for a GM to be unstable. but overall user experience is still much better than ios 12. since i am beta testing, i dun mind some hiccups here and there, but the final release need to be 99% perfect, which is not, right now.

actually it’s not that bad I feel. definitely not to e extent of iOS 11. that was a very bad release.

Yesterday watch this YouTube comparison between iPhone XS and 11 Pro, speed wise no difference, launching of apps both the same if not 1 or 2 seconds faster. Some apps XS opens faster than 11 Pro

been beta testing ios 13 and 13.1 since it is available. i can say both are still pretty buggy. it is very un-apple-ish for apple to release half-bake products though. hope they can quickly fix all the issues.

i am no beta 4 of ios 13.1 with iphone 11. sometimes opening certain apps, eg, the app store, it will display a blank screen. i have to close the app and try opening again, sometimes doing this more than 2x, to get the app store to load.

Music app, tried to download all the music from a playlist but some songs will not download. sigh...

Anyone has this "issues"

- Charging seems to make the phone very hot, compared to 12.4.1
- Battery drain when using app is crazy thus need charging more frequent
- Using any app makes the phone quite warm compared to 12.4.1 which include just messaging and whatsapp
- Did a reboot to phone also same after 2 days

Install since the 1st day when its out so I am sure is more than enough for it to settle down.
Overall is snappy but I feel at the cost of the processor under higher load and battery load.

These may have been asked before, but i noticed there are no more shutter sound when taking photo with the default camera app after updating to IOS 13. Tried on iphone 11 pro max, Iphone XS max, Iphone 8 plus and iphone 7 plus all same no shutter sound.
Is this a feature for IOS 13?

All not on silent mode. And ringer and sound volume set at max also don't have shutter sound. Only happens after upgrading to IOS 13 while ip 11 pro max already comes with it. I guess it is a feature for ios13

I just tried on iPhone 11 Pro Max camera. Got shutter sound.

Strange. All my devices no shutter sound. Before ios13, my Xs max , ip7+ and ip8+ confirm got shutter sound. 11 pro max not sure as it comes with ios13.
Now all the 4 devices no shutter sound at all, be it silent or normal mode.

Seems like all got shutter sound when taking pictures.
Wonder is it all my set having issue including the pro max.... other than the shutter sound issue , all is working normally. I do get the slight haptic feedback whenever I click on the take picture button when taking pictures, just no shutter sound

Try turning up the media volume (not the ringer) for your iPhone.

Probably it is bug cause I’ve tried toggling the volume and it affected before how loud/soft the lock sound will be.

I found out what happen. Seems like it’s a bug but need u guys to test it out as it affects all 4 of my devices.
The issue happens when I take pictures under PHOTO mode. If I select PORTRAIT mode, shutter sound will be heard. Front camera also same, no sound I’m under photo mode and sound present under portrait mode.
Possible a bug in ios13?

Thanks for testing out....but don't get it why all 4 of my devices facing this similar issue.. and the issue only happens in photo mode and not portrait mode for both rear and front camera on all 4 of my devices. Pior to ios13, 3 of the devices are having the shutter sound.
