The entire graph which including the time before the phone was fully charged, shows 10h28m SOT
To calculate the actual SOT,have to manually add up the timing of each portion since it was fully charged
@ 1st show is SOT 11h 9m

it's the same thing as those staff telling you that you need to charge the phone overnight before using.

Probably shady spreading going on. Maybe same as those security loopholes for hackers to gain access or scammers.

its random
some new os creates new problems to different user and takes a while to stabilize

I'm skeptic of better battery life after a particular firmware update

Maybe she meant don't update often so that the battery health won't show a lower percentage, even though the max capacity is lowered regardless? I read or heard from some tech reviewer about each update recalculating the battery health. So technically the more you update the more your phone recalculate the battery health, reflecting the correct battery capacity.

Some firmware updates really does affect the battery life and in turn affect the rate of battery degradation.
However some does improve battery life as well like how IOS 15 has battery life on iPhone 12 for me compare to the latter few IOS 14 firmwares those are really bad.

Battery will degrade, it's... a fact. How fast it will degrade depend on the battery and your usage.
