seems like this 18.0.1 update is for them to buy some time so they can sleep well tonight without anyone bothering them.

all the bugs i encounter in 18.0 are still there. can't see or feel any diff.

Anyone else’s iphone 16/16 pro after ios 18.0.1 couldn’t turn on next day? I had to press up volume & release, down volume & release and hold side button 10 sec before it turned on.

What are some of the bugs you are having now?

1) if u press power button few times. the screen on and off (normal). look at the top right corner icons i.e network, LTE and battery icon are not aligned to the right. causing the network bar partially hidden by dynamic island.

2) widgets goes blank (intermittent) machiam not updated properly.

3) action button sometime does not work when phone screen is off. machiam deep sleep. i do acknowledge that if u cover the dynamic island, action button will not work in screen off. i set my action button to run shortcut btw

4) cannot create stack widget.

probably miss out one or two more bugs but i didnt kenna the touchscreen one so mine are minor

knew it….said don’t update to such iOS update but some still say ish not beta etc or wat lol…wait for major proper update

Exactly. To me, buying an iPhone doesn’t just mean buying the product. Also buying the after sales customer service and support.

I know some had bad experiences with them but so far my experiences are quite good.

The user base too huge already, nothing they cannot resolve given the pressure by users, just buy, if not comfortable, wait for updates then buy.

i beg to differ. on ios 17, there is a control center bug where the volume bar, if u slide the volume all the way down to 'off' the volume, sometimes the level will "rebound" back. i was hoping it will be resolved since the first update to the very last ios 17 version, the bug is still there

I didn't encounter this bug.
