[Software Update] iOS 18.7.7 is out!

This 18.2 feels buggy for me I have encountered a few issues

1) volume control does not work suddenly and requires restart

2) phone randomly restarts when I play game

3) network feels very spotty

Currently never face any of ur stated issue. Will monitor.

so far i haven't kenna number 1 and 2. but i do notice website loads slower compared to 18.1.1

Not slower but more like for awhile not network at all. Sorry maybe spotty was a bad description of the issue.

the network part i didnt experience anything similiar to yours. my last experience like yours when i was using giga (starhub) mobile line. after switching to other telco. it was solved. dun think yours is telco issue bah since urs is after the update.

as for haptic, never really experience also. but i did notice the part when u press and hole vol up and pwr button to shut down the phone, sometime it vibrate, sometime not.

too bad this ios18.2 update is a buggy version for me that i need to restart much much more frequently to notice this haptic bug too. but overall this bug does not bother me much since so far never experience no haptic when notification comes in

I noticed that with iOS 18.2 (public release), Infuse Pro’s loading of videos on my NAS is slower. Each time the video loads there’s a spinning logo for about 2-3 seconds before playback starts. While on 18.1.1, this didn’t happen and my Wifi router hardware and firmware are all the same.

hopefully all these bug will be resolved in the next update.

but unfortunately apple is known for sitting on some bugs forever until the next major release ios 19 is out.

I just recalled i had uninstalled some apple apps previously like Freeform & Journal. Wonder if that had anything to do with Image Playground not being found as an app but can be run within Freeform Logically shouldn’t affect but who knows Have now reinstalled Freeform & Journal but playground app still missing & still need to run from within Freeform.

Next year. But no definite date. U can change your region to US to try out Apple Intelligence in the meantime.

I have tried several of the Apple Intelligence features and only found Image Playground somewhat fun. The text rewrite feature honestly not much use for me.
Just now while chatting with Apple Support over Messages, I found that Apple Intelligence will try to suggest different responses albeit very simple ones.

Siri doesn’t even know Order 66 so clearly Apple is not too bright

The not too bright ones are the Apple “specialists” whom I chatted with. Their standard way to manage customers seems be passing on the call to the next specialist.
I used to work in an IT support organization so I know how to phrase my questions with all the relevant details in a concise manner. Yet these specialists still gave me all sorts of irrelevant answers.

Oh. I’m just sharing. Because we are using British English for formal stuff. So best is to set to that also.
Especially for the whole writing tools.

But since AI features are being released for US english first, would setting as UK english mean you might not get the latest stuff?
