Experiencing terrible battery life.
100% can only last me maybe 4-5 hours of usage max.
Only use whatsapp, some light music and internet.

Completely atrocious compared to before I updated, where it could last me almost the whole day.

The transition animations appeared to be adjusted going from 7.0.x to 7.1.x, allowing the animations to appear smoother (and with shorter timings, too, thus animations complete a tad faster). Interestingly, 7.1.2 appears to be more friendly with battery life, although only a close comparison of power profiles across different versions can tell for sure.
