anyone encounter battery can't charge after upgrading to 8.0.2? haha

bought my 64g iphone 6 ystd shipped with 8.0, upgraded to 8.0.2 via itunes in the afternoon. realized at night that the phone is not charging anymore. just came back from PS service center with a one-to-one exchange.

apparently it happened to my friend's 128g iphone 6 as well.

just be careful if you decide to upgrade and backup your data.

Stayed on 8.0 for all my Apple devices -- it's good to track forums like MacRumors and iMore whenever a new update goes live. There were a number of complaints for 8.0.2 about bluetooth, wifi and freezes that i decided to wait. Hopefully, the next update will fix all problems, but I won't be rushing to get it first.

Phew same here, looks like 8.0 is still a safer bet for now.

On iOS 7.1.2 iphone 5s...

When iOS8 was launched... I tot... chill abit... go sleep... next day den see how...
But don noe y this time round... the feeling wasnt that good... wait awhile...
True enough... got issues...
So told myself wait for first patch... also got issues...
So wait for next patch... also not that sweet...
So now waiting for 8.1... and going to upgrade to iphone6 soon...
Hopefully 8.1 wins back the confidence...

As a Apple supporter, I must say that that this time round there's something off...

Yes iPhone 6/6+ still sells like hot cakes... but it's just something that doesnt feel the same this time round...

Even the ad where Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon singing along... It does give me a "Hmmm?" at the end...

can still downgrade to 8.0?

The way I know would be to do a a full backup...

Manually find the ipsw of ios 8... force "update" to ios 8...

Den restore the backup to this ios 8 iphone.

Make sure your backup is done... if possible get another backup done on icloud as another backup to your backup.

You probably can call Apple support for help on this since the complimentary phone support should still be available.
And there were reports of Apple support helping ppl to downgrade due to the ios 8.0.1 problem.

Such downgrade should only apply within ios 8... the backup done on ios 8/8.0.1/8.0.2 would NOT be able to be restored to ios 7...
