Already tried updating thru OTA leh. No update detected.

Reboot your device.
Turn off WiFi. Check for update using your cellular.
Turn WiFi back on to download the update.

For other phone manufacturers I agree. For Apple, they earn more by having more iOS users. My experience has been positive. Even the iPad 2 works great

Hmm I've seen the multi-touch gesture bug once after the update on my iPad, but other than that nothing so far.

Oh and not much improvement to the read/write speed of my 6+ even after rebooting after update.

Try hard reboot. Mine no need reboot. First thing in the morning alr ask me update. So far no prob.
