That's a big diff. My batt just keep dropping. Haiz should have waited for iOS 9.

Within mins mine drop from 80 to 76 lol. Just surf Fb. On 8.3 it wasn't this way. Need to monitor more

How many mins was the 'within mins'? I don't have FB so I can't comment much on FB power usage on iPhone, but for me on a regular surfing, news-reading, etc, within let's say, 5 mins on continuous activity on 4G, my batt should drop around 2-3%, even on 8.3.

5 mins. Before that I was surfing whatsapping fb and the most in 5 mins iT drop like 1-2%. In case others think I am paranoid I was just comparing between 8.3 n 8.4 having came back from using android. Since 3G days I been using Apple till recently tried note 4 but came back to 6plus.

The 6 plus has still the most outstanding batt life of any iPhone to date since I started from 3GS and 5 mins of continuous usage dropped 2% is normal for the 6 plus. I've colleagues who're using Android (Samsung) for years all complained of batt life being pretty bad.

Funny. Yesterday installed 8.4 and charge up to 100% before sleep. Now still 100%. But many reported battery life shorter.

The 6 plus has still the most outstanding batt life of any iPhone to date since I started from 3GS and 5 mins of continuous usage dropped 2% is normal for the 6 plus. I've colleagues who're using Android (Samsung) for years all complained of batt life being pretty bad.

I agree. I was using the note 4 the batt life was horrendous I can charge 2-3 times in one day and the batt drop rate can be from 100% to 92% in less then 5 mins. Plus the wait for any new OS update can be for months after the release date as each of their OS are customised e.g touch whizz.

Please read what we have posted. We are talking not talking about charging up to 100% and going to sleep before waking up and see that it's still 100%. I went to sleep at 44% I also wake up and find that it's still 44%. Anyway that is not what we are comparing about.

my 6 Plus also got weird battery behavior after update to 8.4. can see battery drop % within few mins of surfing. reset all setting last night and seem ok today.

6+ Battery life so far only dipped a bit after updating to 8.4; 1 hour of continuous surfing, 100% to 93%. Previously on 8.3, 1 hour of surfing battery would be down to 95%.

That's really terrible batt life, even on my previous iPhones i don't have that kind of drop rate, neither need to charge 2-3 times a day.

iOS 9 should be released about a week or two before the new iPhone launch, similarly to OS X El Capitan. Awaiting these two!
