Developer but apparently, the workaround to this is uninstall beta certificate and reboot. And the update will show up. Can't verify this as I am not on beta myself.

What are the apps that crashed for you?
So far my iPad Air 2 9.1 beta 2 never crash.

updated during lecture ystd then both of my devices went into rebooting while i was supposed to annotate notes in class.
