Just checked with SingTel Tech, he confirmed now both 6S and 6 will support voLTE on SingTel network. I waiting for him to confirm whether does it required iOS 9.1 to show that. Cause on iOS 9.0.2, my 6S is still showing 2G,3G and 4G.

Ok got the answer, iOS 9.1 dependency for voLTE for 6S.

As per singtel website, ip6 not supported. Dun understand y note 3 is supported

Only iphone 6s & 6s+ are supported. 6, 6+ & older phones not supported.

Sorry you are wrong. iPhone 6 already has support for VoLTE. Has been using it since iPhone 6 through StarHub who is the first to support VoLTE.

Sometimes there bound to have things that move backwards whenever there's a new software from Apple.

This 2G/3G/4G option missing issue happened to iPhone 4S when it was launched, there was no option to turn on just 2G only.

Shouldn't this be very basic feature of a phone?

I duno about u guys, but 2g was mostly unusable for me. so I'm not really bothered by it. on 2g can receive notifications sure but apps will take ages to download e content. if I'm low on batt I rather just disable data totally...

At this stage of technology advancement do we still need to use 2G only connection??

Well, to preserve battery life, sometimes 2G is really enough.

Of course from technology pov, 2G is really outdated. South Korea has already phased out 2G to free up the spectrum for 4G. So Singapore is in a similar situation, just a few years later.
