The lake is Yeongnangho Lake.
Quite nice to walk around but not a must-go place.

The Younggeumjeong Pavilion is quite a walk to/from the fish market though.

i’m looking to go sokcho from seoul in august. can i check what do you think of
my itinerary?
version 1:
day 1- take 10am bus from Seoul express bus terminal to sokcho
reach at 1230 and go eat mulhoe at sokcho hangari mulhoe
2pm check in the hotel sokcho, nua at beach a little
5pm go pavilion and the lighthouse
7pm go eat dinner at dongpo port - i wanna eat crab!
day 2: wake up and see sunrise at about 6am
then take bus to seoraksan at 8am
9am take cable car go up seoraksan and go temple
1pm to abai village and gunang market
4pm to go back to hotel collect luggage and take 520pm bus back to seoul.
VERSION 2
day 1- take 9am bus from Seoul express bus terminal to sokcho
reach at 1130 and go eat mulhoe at sokcho hangari mulhoe
1pm take a taxi go up to seoraksan and take cable car up.
430pm go temple
6pm go sokcho beach walk and eat dinner - crab!
next day
wake up watch sunrise then 10am take 3 hours chartered taxi to go all the tourist spots in sokcho then end off with abai village and gunang market for lunch before going back to seoul at 4/5pm.
just worried about the summer heat.
