Every other character once awakened their power, their ranking stays the same throughout their lives. The protagonist is the weakest, and the plot armor is only he can level up by training. But the story is special (and dark) so I am watching it.

Read the entire manga. The artist that helped to draw it sadly passed away towards the ending few chapters but it was a good manga.

There are many small details to give the anime more light moments. + it feels more Japanese
IIRC, the manga feels more solemn and dark

I beginning to like the anime, but the starting few episodes on the double dungeon was abit disappointing, it was less intense than the manga..

yes. actually i think watching anime is better then the manga because it is easier to follow all the fighting...i find it hard to understand what is going on during battles if read manga
