Need some advice here, as I am very confused with the transportation

To go to Kawazu, Narita Express from Airport to Tokyo station, change to Odoriko which will arrive at Kawazu.

1. Does JR pass covers Narita Express and Odoriko?
2. How do I check how many train trips there are per day for Odoriko?
3. The JR map is so confusing, how do you guys travel? Can I survive by following Google map

Appreciate your help pls.

Which JR Pass?

Again, do your research and reading from the Japan Guide website.

The above app is useful to navigate the transportation, can select the types of pass as well.

Can share itinerary with me for 6 days

Get JR Tokyo Wide Pass (3 days pass) will do if your route is like below.

Day 1 - Landed in Narita (activate JR Tokyo Wide Pass) -> Tokyo -> Kawazu
Day 2 - Kawazu/other part of Izu Peninsula
Day 3 - Kawazu/other part of Izu Peninsula -> Tokyo (JR Tokyo Wide Pass ended)
Day 4 - Tokyo
Day 5 - Tokyo
Day 6 - Tokyo -> Narita

sorry , going to be direct , i have seen your questions on the forum but you are all over the regions of japan for just 7 days.

I would suggest you stick to 7 days in tokyo area , excluding arrival and departure , you have 5 days . Decide 1 area of tokyo to visit for each day and simplify your trip.

There are plenty of guides like japan guide or https://jprail.com/ on transportation.

If it is so confusing for you, how about joining a packaged tour instead?

The rest of the Tokyo can use metro to travel by SCICA card?

Is there any reason(s) why you aren't doing more reading and basic research? The questions you are asking are spoonfeeding questions. You can do a Google search for Suica Card.

If this is your first time to Japan, I suggest to plan your trip with extra time for missing trains, finding the correct platform, etc. You definitely will need some time to get used to the train system. Don’t plan your trip by squeezing many things together and to the tee, else you will find yourself rushing and getting frustrated/tired.

For transport planning, you will likely need to use both Google (for walking directions to the station) and another website such as hyperdia and/or JapanTransit app (shows platform number and time).

Hyperdia is it back? I heard it was discontinued, it was my go to site for trains.

Guess Covid killed a lot of stuff. Used to enjoy the Flexi JR East passes.

Now all Consecutive days sad.

On the flip side JR has also embraced self-service ticketing and reservations.

I could redeem JR NEX passes and reserve seats without having to queue at the service counter, in English at the Narita self service machine which also reads the passports. Did the same thing for my return trip to Narita, passes go in, reserved tickets come out once you choose the train.

Interesting self sevice kiosk. So if I have a JR east 5 days tohoku pass, i can insert my ticket to update when I would like it to start for first day and also to reverse seats for all 5 days?

I was fortunate to use the jr east south hokkaido flexi 6 days in Feb 2020. Then lockdown happened soon after. Yeah Flexi is best value and you can plan your itinerary without rushing.
