can i cfm there's no longer flexi 3 or 5 days pass available except hokkaido flexi pass ?

pre covid i always buy 3 days flexi pass for snowboarding
so i use pass on 1st day n last day over 10 days period

If I am not wrong there is also no more hokkaido flexi pass.

You may need to get the actual pass first. Now the JR passed they give you the machine ticket itself, no long paste onto an A5 size booklet. The machines are being upgraded with QR reader to read the QR code on the JR Pass. Some machines can read the JR pass and reserve tickets. If the machine beside got passport reader, then you can scan your passport to verify your identity. Otherwise, you need to key in your passport number for every transaction. Meaning you book 5 tickets, you type 5 times. You got family of 4, you type 20 times passport number in total.

I'm trying to purchase JR East Pass online and as I was trying to register as a new member in JR East Website, it requires me to input the credit card details. However, there are issues getting the credit card registered. From what I read from other websites, it has something to do with the new credit card authentication version. Has anyone tried registered successfully with credit card?

Managed to do it back in October, but it took several tries. In the end Youtrip was accepted after several days. Sometimes maybe the CC/bank backend need to whitelist.

I can't register my card for the SmartEx app as well.
