Some Questions about manning.

basically what happened was that i received some sms from a guy claiming that he is the detachment ic and tells me that im on manning..

I havent been notified official by letter or by sms.. is there any c0ckup or am i being trolled here?

totally no briefing nothing official.. nothing in my ns portal too

If got manning, u should have a notification on your nsportal, under my manning.

If not, then check with your ns mates.

i dun think the detachment IC will troll u, because I am also a detachment IC (suay)

they are given a list of nominal roll to contact in case of activation.. but i think ur detachment ic siao on.. personally i dun contact them until they press button

U better check with your unit, and whether your address and contact number are updated with them or not.

NS portal . Login sing pass can see everything .
From address , contact number , got manning or not etc etc etc .

U better check with your unit, and whether your address and contact number are updated with them or not.

Sadly i dont have a unit.. The Detachment ic also smsed me to acknowledge whether no. and add same anot..

I didnt change address for at least 10 years alr anyway

Plus my nsportal i updated the number.. i receive IPPT updates

Weird leh..Maybe wor.. Damn out of the blue msg me..
no lar at first i thought is friend trolling me as my friend was an officer incharge of NSMEN as a NSF last time..

no briefing is normal...

my 1st 2 manning also no briefing as well... don't know the packing list, don't know where to report, don't know my appointment, don't know the timings...

call ns hotline they also don't know a thing...

but for your case you better call ns hotline cos by right if got manning, you will be notified before hand by the ns portal system.

it could be that you were originally in this unit or company and then posted out or transferred to another company but the nominal roll not updated yet.

no notice in ns.sg, quite sure you no need to go for mob.

in doubt, you should contact the detachment IC and ask for the unit and unit ops room and call them or go through NS hotline.

without unit info, its like needle in a hay stack.
