I need to have a hdd with os to test an old desktop.
which is better option? (SSD not included as cost is higher)
1. 2.5" laptop hdd, with adapter to fit into 3.5" slot, as after testing, if desktop is not worth repairing/parts replacement, hdd can be used as portable drive
2. 3.5" hdd, as after testing, if desktop is not worth repairing/parts replacement, use it as portable drive, not so plug and play as its bulky, but no issues if used as extra drive for data back up at home/office (not so mobile)
