Hi everyone! I'm still studying in NP accountancy, year 2 student.
I'm looking to study overseas after my NS and just want to ask some questions here and hope you guys can help me :)

My GPA is not good.. Prolly about 3.2 - 3.3 when I graduate.
So if I want to study Commerce majoring in Accounting in Uni, what are my choices?

I'm more into Australia because I'm looking to settle down when I graduate and find a job, don't wanna come back to Singapore hahaha, and I heard it's easier to get PR in Australia than in UK?

With my GPA, what are the avaliable Unis that I can apply with one year exemption? I'm super interested in UniMelb or ANU but I think it's quite impossible with my GPA haha.

Thanks in advance!!

Accounting hmmm, read this thread... It easier than uk today but its getting harder with time. There are talks removing accountants from SOL but its still there. U maybe able to get PR but getting a job remains a qns. I heard a honors finance major from UofMelb helps alot but accounting no idea. Doing honors may mean its a 4 yrs with no exemptions can u afford that?

3.3 can get u in uofmelb perhaps with 1 yr adv standing. Today cost of uofmelb is at aud$35k (2014) + aud$20k for living expenses. Sgd$60k+ a yr.

ANU is not known for biz but Econ, biz look at usdy or unsw

Canada offer post graduation work visa up to 3yrs. I have heard ppl graduating from sauder accounting getting jobs but your gpa cannot go sauder.
