Hello bros,

I'm using an Acer X1700 computer,
specs are as follows:

Core2 Duo E7400
2gb(removed another 2gb)<causing problems>
Geforce G100
LG DVD Drive
500GB Toshiba Drive
Stock powersupply

installed ubuntu and when everything was fine, disconnect from power and repower back,
the computer always has problems booting, first is unable to complete POST, second is able to boot but no keyboard signal, third is my software ok then hang, forth shows command prompt of fixing recursive loop, finally able to use after 5 reboot.
Bros any idea whats this tell-tale sign?

mobo?

i saw your 1st post

ram removed that causes unstable.

remove the 2Gb ram first and overturn Coms battery wait for 3 mins

than turn back the Cmos battery and power up.

i advise you run a ram test.

Remove your RAMs and use an eraser to rub the gold-plated pins on both sides. Insert back properly and try again. This might save you some money.
