which one is better?

Both are great cameras. Since they are Interchangeable Lens Camera, so you have to compare them together with lens.

if just talking about kit, A6000 kit is cheaper than X-E2 kit, but the kit lens bundled with A6000 is lousy, different "level" in terms of IQ compared with lens bundled in X-E2 kit.

So if want to compare both with equivalent lens , I would say
A6000 (body) + Sony SEL1670Z Vario-Tessar TE 16-70mm
and X-E2 kit (18-55)

In this case, A6000 package is slightly expensive.

In the end, both are great camera. So it really depends on your budget and needs.

IMHO, A6000 is really a value for money cam with a very nice OLED viewfinder. I bought it so that I dont have to lurk my full frames for causal shots. pics below are shot with 16-50 and 50 f1.8. contrary to what most peeps are saying, i find the 16-50 kit is good enough if u dont pixel peep

Both camera are using diff sensors with fuji's more close to foeveon type compare to normal cmos from sony which I really like their dynamic range. But fuji all products made in japan except certain zooms are made in china but still selling at very expensive price! End up getting the A6k unless I need DOF I would throw another 300 to get A7 but fuji xt1 sibei kwee~~~ 1.3-1.5k for used body and yet again the money can buy A7 and adaptors to fit other lens liao
