SONY A7/A7ii Battery issue

The battery life on the A7/A7ii doesn't last long n beside buying another spare battery what other options do we have? Will Sony be releasing any updates or anything to help the battery woes? I have wrote in to Sony and they mentioned to bring the battery to the local service centre in sg. Thanks

A well-known fact. The W series batteries are small capacity, they will not last on mirrorless camera. Try power off your camera in between shots.

Though if u need to shoot continously, tough luck.
