not sure....havent explore the apk file.

Internet browsing site have alot of pop up advertisements. :(
Very troublesome.

Very true but why is the browsing speed so slow? My other device, phone, iPad on the same network is so much faster. Is it a Sony thing or are all smart tv the same?

sideload chrome browser

Can download and open but can't use remote control to navigate. So it is pointless.

In the default browser, can go into Korean website but the video won't load and I suspect it's the format. Must download flash player or something?

What will you be using the tv for? 4K hdr gaming? If so, I’d rather you fork out extra for the 900f or 900e (if you can find it) for the excellent contrast ratio and brightness. These are the crucial factors for great hdr.

If you are just looking to consume basic 4K media on Netflix and am not particular about hdr, the 8000e would suffice.

Anyone got the X8500F, X7500F or X8000E? I'm stuck between these 3 models. Any advice and suggestions?

Hmm I don't do much gaming. I'll use it mainly for media consumption. How is the Android TV experience? I see that it used to have quite a lot of problems. Is it still as problematic?

Retail price for X9000e 49" is around $1899 - $2000.
Now hard to find X9000e...except a few stores.. Toa Payoh Courts still have it i think.

Sony stores doesn't carry anymore...they will promote X9000F instead.

i got my X9000e 49" @ $15xx during the Expo fair.
Its a display set...for 3 days. (one of my frd is the sales...they opened a new one for display)

So i just get the display set.

Very worth it.

They r phasing out the x9000e.
Now replace with x9000f.

In fact a lot of retailers don’t carry x9000e anymore.

So if u see any left overs and price is right.
Just get it.

Sony store don’t carry x9000e already.
That’s what Sony sales told me. :(

Usable so far. Netflix works well on it so that’s fine for me. Not as fast as the LG or Samsung OS but i don’t think you’ll find any issues with it.

Problem with RSS Player with my Sony Bravia

Dear all,

Recently, my RSS player in my Shafa Launcher posted an error stating unable to load the RSS link. After trying many times, it still didn't work. I reinstalled the RSS player and now every time I try to launch it, it closes. Please enlighten me on how to deal with this issue. Thank you.
